Centro Cultural de Belém

This is a modern building, opened in 1990, placed between the Jerónimos Monastery and the river. It began being the headquarters of the Portuguese Presidence of the European Union and became a cultural centre in 1993. At the pavilion reserved for temporary exhibitions occur musical, theatre and photography events.
