Parque Eduardo VII

A park with 26 ha, located at the top of the Liberdade Avenue. Its present shape is by Keil do Amaral (1945). It has a central grass border, sided by a Portuguese stone-paved walkway. Here are varied sculptures, an esplanade, a lake and a belvedere. The Estufa Fria (greenhouse), with a large variety of plants coming from several parts of the world, deserves a visit. The Pavilion Carlos Lopes, used for conferences and concerts, is also placed here.
