Parque Urbano de Ovar

Designed by architect Sidónio Pardal, this green area follows the lines of parks with a romantic and naturalistic tradition, suitable for leisure and socializing. With an area of 7.5 hectares, it consists of tree-lined lawns, bridges and crossings along the bank of the Cáster river. The river is the central element in the life of the park and allows you to practice canoeing and other sports. Located right in the heart of the urban center, access is easy and can be done through 10 gateways. This is a space for the whole family to have fun. In addition to physical and sporting activities, it allows for recreational activities, such as music concerts, multimedia shows and theater.
