Torre de São Paulo
These are the only traces from the mediaeval walls, the towers in square plan and prismatic crenels. S. Paulo tower is covered by a balcony, topped by merlons and cannon gargoyles in each one of it faces. On the side facing the river there is a panel of tiles allusive to the Reconquista (Reconquest) dated from 1140 – 1940.
