Palácio de Achioli / Escola Superior de Educação de Portalegre

This Palace is in the same location where, according to tradition, was the building where he lived Dona Iria Gonçalves do Carvalhal Pereira, mother of Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira. It was built in the 18th century by an Italian family, the Achioli. It consists of two floors, with a sober facade and geometric lines, markedly Baroque style.
