Passeio Geológico da Foz do Douro
The Geological Tour of Foz do Douro is located on the edge of the coastal city of Porto, in the parishes of Foz do Douro and Nevogilde stretching along about 2 miles, between Praia do Castelo do Queijo and Praia dos Ingleses. The course is signaled with the nine panels of scientific information to the general public. It is advisable, however, to consult a tide table, since some outcrops are visible only during low tide.
