Casa-Museu Doutor Horácio Bento de Gouveia
Built between the 17th and 18th centuries in the traditional Madeiran civil style, this house was the birthplace of Dr. Horácio Bento de Gouveia.
It was adapted into a House-Museum in 1986, where you can find objects related to the professional life of this Madeiran writer, journalist, and professor, as well as antique pieces.
