Jardim das Plantas Indígenas da Madeira
Stretching for 2200 square meters, the garden of indigenous plants of Madeira was created in 1989 by the Ecology Club Canary Laurel with the support of the municipality and of the Global Fund for nature WWF, fruit of a growing scientific interest for rarity and variety of plant species that exist in the region. With more than 60 species of the Madeiran Laurisilva and the seaside cliffs, some unique in the world.
