Torre de Menagem de Vila Velha de Ródão / Castelo de Rodão / Castelo do Rei Vamba
Medieval watchtower located on a cliff overlooking the Tagus River. This tower is the only remaining vestige of Ródão Castle, also known as King Vamba's Castle. The castle was built in the 7th century by King Vamba, and the tower was likely built in the 11th or 12th century by the Knights Templar.
