Ansião
Ansião is a small village in the district of Leiria, with a historical, architectural and cultural heritage that is worth knowing. Very marked by the past and the people who visited it, it was the Roman occupation that most influenced the evolution of the territory. In addition to the countless monuments and centuries-old churches, visit the typical villages, climb one of the viewpoints and take in the view of the surrounding valleys and mountains, a true patchwork painted in shades of green, brown, yellow and gray. If you like hunting, know that the forest areas of Ansião offer excellent conditions for it. But the region's gastronomic ex-libris is Rabaçal cheese, with its unique taste. Be sure to try it, preferably in your own territory, surrounded by the aromas of the Terras de Sicó.
