This former mosque it was adapted to a Christian church on the 13th century with a manueline – mudejar façade where it stands out the crenels and the spires. It is the only one that stills conserves the volumetric and some decorative elements from the Arab temple that preceded it, namely the disposition in plan “T”, the “mihrab” presence, the “nimbar” compartment on the “quibla” wall (the mosque wall) turned to Meca, the still existing 5 naves from the former mosque, the statuary, doors and remains from the mirabe.
