This fortification was built in the 12th and 13th centuries and later sent to enlarge by Dom Dinis. During that time some changes were made, Manueline which subsists the gate which gave access to the drawbridge. Still preserves the Alcazaba with the keep of pentagonal base, the Tower of the five Corners, protected by machicolations and faucets, and the waist of walls that surrounds the village. Emphasis the thickness and height of the curtains of the Alcazaba and the existence of the Barbican.

Architecture of religious type, consisting of chancel, nave, sacristy, belfry and side chapel. This is private and belongs to the family Pinto da Fonseca. This construction there are only ruins, but you can still see the square base of the pulpit and the respective ladder, the triumphal arch broken and, laterally, the tables of the side altars.

The façade displays some traces from a Romanic doorway which panels are ornate by two pigeons. The inside has one only nave standing out the baptismal font that has it origins on the fifteen hundreds period, the pulpit and the image from Santa Maria.

Built, probably, in the XII century, it was rebuilt in the XIII century by the Templar, and suffered later various acts of vandalism, being reduced to ruins. It suffered successive interventions and is now a work mainly from the XIX century.

13th-century building, rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake. It maintains the Gothic structure and portal. In the main chapel is the tomb of the seven Knights of the Order of Santiago killed by the Moors in an ambush, which legend associates with the conquest of the city. From the collection of sacred art, comprising pieces of goldwork from the 16th and 18th centuries and vestments, a missal stand from the 16th / 17th centuries, from Japan (“nambam” art) deserves special mention.

Church erected, possibly in the 14th century, of rectangular plan with coverage of two waters and barrel vault ceiling. Chapel of square plan with roof and domed cover. Already existed in 1302, when it was donated to the Chapter of the Cathedral. It was the seat of the parish with the same name, and is currently in ruins.
