In one of the banks of the river Vouga, beside the new thermal plant of São Pedro do Sul, is one of the oldest Roman thermal and constitute one of the most important archaeological monuments of this period. Is a Roman thermal complex composed of Tepidarium, Caldarium and Sudatorium, Laconicum (kiln dried), a set of five swimming pools. It is also called Pool of Dom Afonso Henriques.
