O Parque Verde de Alcobaça situa-se na entrada nascente da cidade, preservando os antigos caminhos da água para o Mosteiro de Alcobaça. Com uma área de mais de seis hectares, é um espaço de lazer que permite a prática de exercício, atividades ao ar livre e a realização de eventos.

Open to the public since 2000, this museum shows the history of the oldest tapestries factory in Alcobaça. It exhibits several different artistic styles, totalling more than one hundred pieces from 1900 to 1970. By the museum there is a shop where one may acquire some current products of this factory.

This Monument was constructed by the Cistercian Rule monks between 1178 and 1254 following the model from the Mother House from Cistercian Rule in Claraval, France. The Monastery is composed by three bodies: the church, the North and South wings where it was respectively located the Kings and Court chambers when visiting and the Abbot and Monks residences. Installed on a rise about 70 meters west of the monastery, Alcobaça Castle was sent to build by d. Afonso Henriques in 1147, on the presumed ruins of a fortification from the 6th century, as part of an important defensive line of the Lisbon region.
