This ethnographic Museum displays the most traditional and beautiful aspects of the region. A journey through time that reveals the culture, ways of life, traditions and history of these people.

This Dolmen, more than five thousand years old, corresponds to one of the largest monuments of its kind in Beira Alta, being composed of a polygonal chamber, with seven pillars, and a medium-sized access corridor.

Mansion farmhouse of characteristic construction from the second half of the 19th century. It is said that King Manuel II stayed here, invited by Marquis Soveral, during the harvest season.

The architectural set of the Whaling Museum is made up of boathouses from the last century, an attached blacksmith's tent and the space where the library and archive are located. Opened in 1988, it aims to preserve the memory of an activity that marked Azorean life - whaling art. It includes exhibits of pieces crafted from ivory teeth and a whaling canoe, used in whale hunting.

It might have a camera with 10 pillars and a corridor about 3.80 in length. It is well signposted, but the access will have to be made by dirt road. This dolmen is in reasonable condition, however the monumental cover slab is misplaced.

The municipal swimming pools in Vila Nova de Paiva have excellent conditions for swimming and water aerobics.

The Medieval Sarcophagi are located in Vila Cova à Coelheira, more precisely on Avenida do Brasil (next to the Main Church). They date back to medieval times but are displaced from the location of the archaeological find. These sarcophagi are carved from granite blocks in an advanced state of deterioration, they belonged to the cemetery of the old church of Vila Nova à Coelheira.

This Medieval Necropolis is an archaeological complex with 11 tombs excavated in the rock, one of which has a high relief representing a chalice.

The Centro Cultural Recreativo de Vila Cova à Coelheira is home to the following associations: Progressive Musical Band, Sport Clube Vilacovense, Scenic, Cultural and Recreational Group.
