The Romanesque church of the monastery of Pombeiro was one of the few in Portugal to obey the plan of three naves, which reveals the importance of this House in the medieval context of the country. Over time, Pombeiro became head of the land of Shah, arriving to take under its patronage 37 parishes. This Romanesque period only the two absidíolos and the main portal, four archivolts.

The national monument classification includes the tomb of Sir Jorge de Lencastre, son of King João II, in Arrábida marble. Baroque church that maintains its original design, consisting of a very simple nave. It was built during the reign of Kings João V and José I. Highlights include the pulpit built in schist and the typical tiles of the Real Fábrica de Lisboa. The portal displays a marbled medallion of the order of penance, symbolized by the cord surrounding two tables.

A 16th-century church with a single nave, pilasters at the corners, a main façade finished with a gable and cornice, with openings forming a central axis consisting of the Mannerist portal surmounted by a niche with an image of Our Lady of Mercy. The interior is completely stripped of its former structure and decoration, preserving only the chancel arch, a perfect arch on pilasters, with traces of paint.

The primitive church was constructed as a consequence from the Christian Reconquest on the half of the 13th century, being one of the oldest parish headquarters on the town. The structure and the character from the former Gothic church were deeply altered becoming the most important example from the Manueline style in Santarém. It stands out the Gothic doorway and the glazed tiles coverage from the 17th century.

Monte da Senhora da Graça is distinguished from other elevations of the Alvão/Marão mountain set by its steepness (known for the famous finishes of the Volta a Portugal by Bicycle) and because it is an elevation isolated from the others, clearly visible from the center of Mondim of Basto. Chapel dating from the late 15th century, with a robust appearance which gives it a certain air of fortress. Inside are two tile panels dated from 1751 and an image dating from the 18th century. Offering beautiful views of the sea and the village.

This church has one only Nave covered with tiles from the XVIII century, which show scenes from the Holy Mother life. There are three lateral arches ornate with golden carves that embrace carved altarpieces and altars from the XVIII century.
