The Convento do Espinheiro, A Luxury Collection Hotel & Spa is housed in a former monastery dating from the 15th century, classified as a national monument. The 92 rooms, where exquisite details are mingled, are located in the former convent and in the new wing, harmoniously integrated in the gardens. Among the available equipment includes three pools, a SPA with five treatment rooms and a panoramic restaurant\/lounge next to the waterfall pool. Megalithic monuments consisting of two menhirs situated relatively close to each other. It is a monolith carved from a block of greywacke, dark gray in color, with a brown patinated surface. It has a star-like appearance, an ellipsoidal cross-section, and measures a little over three meters in height, making it the largest example of greywacke known to date in Portugal. Everything indicates that these menhirs were built in the second half of the fourth millennium BC. The site is surrounded by a net, so it can only be visited from the outside.

The building has three floors and on top is a triangular fronton with the symbol of the Order of Christ. To go inside the building you pass through a small yard that leads to the cloister. Integrated in the area of the Military College is the Condes de Mesquitela Palace, whose building has two floors.

A dormant volcano, located in the Caldera Guilherme Moniz. One can go down to a depth of 100 metres to get to a lagoon with crystal clear waters. Way down below, a special note to the set of stalactites and stalagmites of volcanic glass. This cave is classed as a Regional Natural Monument.

The slope of the Mount of São João, relatively close to the "Table of the Moors", in an elongated platform that ends in the escarpment Rabagão, gathered fragments of "tegullae" and a half tile. Currently, in addition to these indications, are not percetíveis other archaeological remains.
