This protected area has around 777 hectares and a maximum altitude of 720 meters, including most of the island's coastline and its islets, as well as the Caldeirão volcano. It is home to important communities of endemic flora and fauna species, as well as migratory birds.

Beach located between cliffs, very beautiful and with thick sand. Here is the São Lourenço Fortress, dating from the 16th century, currently the guard's holiday home. It has a small stage for shows, a first-aid station and a restaurant with a terrace.

A rather large regional restaurant with plenty of natural light, located on a villa's ground floor. It has a simple decor, homely, but very comfortable. Friendly and effective service. Good choice of wines, mostly those of Celorico de Bastos and Amares.

A privileged place to view the city of Lisbon. The views are amazing from wherever one stands on the walls and one may even use the periscope, located in the Tower of Ulysses, so as to view things in more detail. It is open from 10 am to 4.30 pm.

From this ancient aqueduct, one can still see the water catchment area for the Roman city of Conímbriga, along with traces extending up to 3,550 meters. The remains of the rectangular castellum (catchment tower) are clearly visible from the water catchment system.

House integrated in a walled pleasure farm, made up of the House with three floors and a garden in the back façade. It was probably built in the 19th century, undergoing renovations in the 20th century. The main façade presents sober lines, highlighting only a Bay window.

It is believed that this chapel was built in the 17th century, as well as the elements that made up the Via Sacra. Presents a longitudinal plan simple with a single space, preceeded by a porch supported by Tuscan columns, with different toppings on gable roofs. Underwent refurbishment in the 20th century.

This Megalithic granite menhir was identified and raised up in 1970. It is estimated that it has approximately 4 metres high and 1 of diameter. It was fallen, fractured and presenting signals of degradation, besides having lost its base which was carved afterwards to reconstruct the menhir.

Construction in masonry and taipa, circular shape, is enveloped by a staircase covered with vaults of segmented sections. It was built in sandstone of Silves in centuries XI and piling up in the 16th century. Located inside the Museum of Archaeology of Silves, is the most important piece in the Museum's collection.

The name leaves no room for doubt. Ribamariscos seafood restaurant has as specialities the fish dishes and seafood. But is that also makes up the menu, being Wednesday the day reserved for the cozido à portuguesa. The Ribamariscos organizes themed dinners, some with live music.
