The Museum of the regiment of Sappers Firemen is housed in a modern building near the Centro Comercial Colombo. With an area of approximately 7200 m2, spreads over four floors, including a flagship showroom, mezzanine, temporary exhibition room, Auditorium, children's animation space, information centre and reservations. Of the old village of Jarmelo, currently, only a set of ruins remain located on an elevation from which you can see a vast area, from Serra da Estrela to Serra da Marofa. The story goes that, because of the love between the Infante Dom Pedro and Inês de Castro, this village suffered great violence, and the consequences are still clearly visible today.

Residential architecture in Baroque, Pombaline, and Classicist styles, with significant elements characteristic of grand Baroque architecture. At the front stands a monument dedicated to the Dead of the Great War and a fountain. The building is quadrangular in shape and surrounds a courtyard. The painted ceiling depicts the image of the Virgin and Child and Saint John the Baptist. Today, it is the headquarters of the municipal company Falcão and hosts recreational and cultural activities throughout the year.

Museum located in the old building of the power station, which aims to recreate the environment of the mines of Lousal, being an integral part of the Foundation Frédéric Velge. These mines were extracted copper pyrites, between 1900 and 1988. Today you can visit the facilities, excavations and galleries of the mine, as well as the engines of power plant that supplied not only mine, but also the local population.

The museum Photographia Vicentes is based in the collection of the atelier founded in 1845, with a department of emulsified glasses unique in the world. It is placed in the former photographic studio of Vicente Gomes da Silva, built in 1865 and remodelled in 1887, keeping its architectonical characteristics until today. This space also has about 800 thousand negatives of collection of professional and amateur photographers, and a small nucleus for Cinema.

A mining complex established in the 19th century to exploit a copper-bearing pyrite mine whose deposit had been exploited in Roman and pre-Roman times. The main elements extracted during modern mining, between 1854 and 1966, were copper and sulfur. After the mine's closure, the equipment was dismantled and sold, leaving the landscape today marked by mining activity and acid drainage.

Church of attractive façade, located on one of the main streets of Vila Viçosa, in the historic centre. Features choir, chancel, vestry and side corridor of access to the cloister. Inside part of the highlight goes to the blue and white 1468 that cover the walls. Today is place of many organisms, such as the Calipolense Philharmonic Society, the retirement living Center, Youth Association and Youth Center, among others.

This is one of the rock art sites in the Valley of the Coa, forming a rare set of this type of art, essentially composed of stone engravings dated from the Upper Paleolithic. This core consists of two shale rocks with engraved panels: one of them, today submerged, the recording of a slender neck deer, schematic, obtained by incision; on the other are engraved several filiform, Zoomorphic motifs and weapons.

18th century building, built by João Cardoso Moniz de Castelo Branco, Alderman of the Town Hall. This was more a family that made a fortune at the time thanks to the production and marketing of wine. This House follows the architecture of the houses from this era in Borba, where on the ground floor was the production of wine and, on the top floor was the housing area. Today this space is meant for Turismo de Habitação.

Although the first buildings date back to the 9th century, the remains that are visible today belong to buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. The majestic Johannine-style church of Mafra and the Mannerist cloister are a special highlight of the monastery. Also, noteworthy are the tombs of Santa Teresa and Santa Sancha, the imposing baroque chair, the neoclassical organs and their grille, the paintings by Pasquale Parente and the stone and gilded altarpieces.
