Parque municipal treated well, very wooded, with seats distributed throughout the space, as well as good lighting and pedestrian pathways. There are open space inside the Park, where it is possible to find a maintenance circuit.

The urban park of the Ul, green space occupying an area equivalent to 30 football fields, is a modern and functional place of walk and recreation of the inhabitants of São João da Madeira and its visitors. Located in the city centre, the Park was designed by architect Sidónio Pardal and is characterized by the surrounding walls in granite and by a tree-lined interior that meanders the river Ul. It is a large space that invites to long walks or strolls in family through the freshness of the river and dams that were built there.
