A filigrana é a arte portuguesa de trabalhar o fio de ouro ou de prata. Há dois tipos de filigranas: a de aplicação e a de integração (joias). As peças mais características têm a forma de coração, Cruz de Malta, alfinetes medalhas, brincos, caravelas, entre outros. Estes adornos fazem parte do traje feminino de Entre Douro e Minho, tendo esta atividade passado de pais para filhos.

António José Lagarto aprendeu os segredos da profissão aos 11 anos, com o seu pai, Francisco Narciso Lagarto. A Olaria é uma das mais antigas e tradicionais atividades da vila de Viana, tendo características próprias. The project of an artificial tropical forest began in 1910. The Greenhouse opened in 1930 and has four spaces: three greenhouses and a walking area by the lake. It has vast tropical flora, with exotic species from the five continents. The decorative ambience has small grottos, statues, staircases and fountains. A very romantic place that deserves a visit.
