This museum, located in the Castle of Chaves, exhibits several military artefacts, such as weapons, uniforms and military plans. It is possible to climb to the top of the castle where one will enjoy magnificent views of the city.

At 1056 meters of altitude, this imposing stone tower is also known as Guarda Castle. It is the most relevant physical memory of the passages of the kings in the city, as well as the defense of the kingdom against Castile.
