Also known as Amoreiras Aqueduct or Murracezes, this monument built in the eighteenth century (probably in 1765) is a private civil engineering. In architectural terms, the aqueduct has a width of about two feet and a height ranging between one-and-a-half and eight metres, as the slope of the terrain. In the final section, which ends in fountain, presents an arcade consisting of fourteen arches full of great dimension.

The blacksmith's Forge, inaugurated in June 2001, corresponds to the musealization of an ancient workshop of farrier and blacksmith. It is a small workshop set up in the vicinity of one of the gates of the village. The forge ended its activity when its owner, died in the mid-eighties of the 20th century, and was subsequently acquired by the local authority. In this museum you can see a small part of the estate representative of this artisan activity.

The construction of this space began in 1570 and ended only in the XVIII century, a fact is known for. The National Pantheon was placed here since 1916, with the Vasco da Gama, Afonso de Albuquerque, Nuno Álvares Pereira, Camões, Pedro Álvares Cabral, Infante D. Henrique, some Presidents and writers tombs. Amália Rodrigues, the famous fado singer, is the only woman here.

This sculpture of King Dom Afonso Henriques, situated at one end of the Largo João Franco, soon after entering through the gates of the village, was opened in 2001 in the commemorations of the day 24 June municipal holiday in the city of Guimarães. To carry out this work, the author João Cutileiro was inspired by the books of primary statement of the 1940, where the first King of Portugal was represented with an amount.

Its construction began in the end of the XVI century, being concluded in the next century. In 1832-33, during the Porto siege, it served as a storing and protection spot. Fortification with defence elements placed at the angles and meant to protect it from flank attacks, with a big defensive capacity. In the beginning of the XIX century, an urban change covered the set with rocks, withdrawing the castle from the mouth.

The church is due to King Sebastião who, by charter of 1571, ordered it to be built. It is a temple with a tripartite facade, with a galilee opening in the central body. The lateral bodies are made up of imposing bell towers. Interior of three naves with round arcades and stone pilasters. The Baroque carved altars, the Estremoz marble altarpiece and Mannerist paintings from the end of the 16th century deserve special attention.
Edifício do Palace Hotel do Bussaco

It was here that, on September 27, 1810, the Battle of Bussaco was fought, in which Wellington, commanding Anglo-Portuguese troops, defeated the French army under Massena. This important historical moment, which marked the end of the French invasions, is depicted in some of the tiles inside the building, now converted into a luxurious hotel. Nestled in the majestic Buçaco Forest, it offers a stunning architectural, historical, and scenic ensemble.

The Romanic church was built on the 12th century even though there are some doubts about the fact that this church used to be part of the Benedictine Convent, founded by S. Frutuoso on the 6th century. It stands out the doorway with two archivolts deeply decorated and the occidental doorway, very simple with the tympanum with a cross and laces, inspired on the bracarense (from Braga) art from the end of the 12th centuries.

This pillory is dated from the 16th century and it rebuilt afterwards in the end of the thirties, from the existing remaining. It is composed by three steps, a cylindrical shaft, finishing in a narrow ring where it is settled a square abacus prolonged into a capital with double ring. The abutment is flat conic, in which vertex settles a sphere in huge dimensions where it is possible to see a Weather Vane with pennon and cross.
