An area of about 200 hectares, located in th zone of the Rede Natura 2000 - southeast coast. It has three dams to help fight forest fires, a fitness circuit and a leisure park.

Traces of large gold holdings, active by vast periods, especially in the Roman period, medieval and modern, admitting that might have known exploration at a time more remote, in Proto-history. Are visible evidence of large open excavations, numerous cut mining galleries and heaps, over a wide area. One of the areas form a pond, which have given rise to the name of the place, "Poço das Freitas".

Waterfall in the National Park of Peneda-Gerês, more precisely at Travassos, accessing-posing as a footpath of about 2 kilometres. It is a medium-sized waterfall surrounded by tall green hills, creating a breathtaking scenario.

This place is dominated by the "sapal". The eurasian reed warbler, the purple heron and the western marsh harrier stand out among the birds.

This creek is dominated by canes, typical of the high "sapal". There are several species of birds, mammals, anphibians and reptils.

By the tidal stream, a special note to the Sapal, where there are several species of birds of prey that are typical of this kind of systems: the marsh harrier and the black kite.
