This is an area located north of the serra do Larouco intermediate basin of the River, Rooms in Galicia (Spain), in the current province of Ourense which borders Tourém. His institution was connected, since the late Middle Ages, the castle of Piconha, and later to the House of Braganza. Village inserted in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, characterized by its granite houses. Currently, only three families reside at this location, and is almost abandoned. There is a huge number of abandoned houses, filled with dense vegetation which rises through the granitic structure. Managed to keep, however, the beauty of the village, where is only allowed the construction of buildings in granite.

The few dozens South of Chapel of SR. dos Aflitos, in a sheltered, between the ribeira chã de Lamas of Miro and Corga of Hanged remain visible traces of old buildings. Are still evident several houses of rectangular plant and foursquare, in ruins, some of them with more than half a meter tall. Part of the structures were based on granitic outcropping. Access was made by a road coming from North empedrado. Typical village in the National Park of Peneda-Gerês, framed in a granite frame, on the hillside of serra. His wealth, with much dark granitic as beautiful, gives this site a unique and very attractive mysticism. One of the ex-libris of this location is the so-called Bolideira Stone, a rock that rocks the slight jerk of the human hand.
