A small schist village located on the banks of the Ocreza River, between the Talhadas and Perdigão mountains. It's still a great starting point for hiking or visit the Termas do Gerês, Caniçada dam, Mata de Albergaria, among other attractions.

The Parque de Campismo de Arganil, located in Sarzedo, and near the river Alva, offers the ideal conditions to enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation in contact with nature. This mountain is located in the foothills of the serra da Cabreira, more precisely six miles northeast of Braga. The Bom Jesus and Sameiro are two places of pilgrimage to visit this mountain range overlooking the city. Annually, at the end of July, takes place at the top of the mountain, one of the most typical Minho festivals in honor of Santa Marta.
