Small garden located in the center of the city, in front of the Town Hall. There is a small café with a pleasant covered terrace and a few benches where you can rest while watching the hustle and bustle of the city. Here you can appreciate the typical Portuguese pavement decorated with the characteristic embroidery designs of Castelo Branco.

Also known as the field of gender equality, this place stands out for being one of the few traces of Hebrew island. In the first half of the 19th century, several Hebrew families emigrated from Morocco to third, existing at the time several synagogues. In 1832 it was acquired by the Hebrews of the island to here them burying their dead.

A procession in honour of Saint Ovídio takes place every ear on the last Sunday of August, at the belvedere over the small town of Castelo da Maia.

Sited in a beautiful exhibition gallery, located at the neo-classical S. Bento Building, it has a permanent exhibition called: “Biology, Biodiversity and Evolution in the Vegetal World”. Here you may also see a considerable number of microscopes and other ancient laboratorial instruments, a good collection of fossils and varied handicraft works.

The archaeological ruins of S. Cucufate date from the 1st century AD and testify the passage of Roman civilization through the region, at a time when a villa was installed here, in the center of a farm. The archaeological excavations that were being carried out on the land also allowed the discovery of the medieval cemetery of the friars and mural paintings.

House of traditional architecture, with a nice interior courtyard, located in the historic area of Óbidos, within the walls. Around here you can purchase regional products such as the famous "ginjinha" liquor, wine, embroideries, ceramics and patchwork quilts. This urban street was built on the first half of the 16th century; hence it shows many Renaissance characteristics. It has a large, long and straight path with about 460 metres long and 12.50 metres large. It starts in Santa Cruz Monastery and finishes in Santa Cruz hillside. Formerly, the University College used to be here.
