This pillory was built in 1937 in the same place where it used to exist a former pillory. It has three square steps, a column with a square shaft and a capital with a cube where it is possible to see the Coat of Arms from Portugal, Forlgosinho, one armillary sphere and the Cross of Christ.

Neoclassical fountain of rectilinear backrest, flanked by corners of appliance rusticated, with two rounded spouts and a rectangular tank. On top of this, there are some double shrine niche crowned by a Latin cross. The fountain was built in 1887 and the shrines there placed later, despite having been built in 1809.

Chapel probably built in the early 17th century, the present features of mannerist architecture and revivalist. In the 18th century were placed the altarpieces and the 20th century was built the chapel on the South side. In the interior, highlighted by a 16th century stone image of the Patron Saint, located in the sacristy.

These are also known as Roman Baths/Spa of alto da Cividade are located on the upper part in Cividade slope. They were discovered during the working excavations made during 1977. The building is placed in the 1st century and it is integrated on the urban renovation work of Flávia Braca Augusta.

Located near Quiaios, the lagoon is roundish, with an approximate diametre of 600 metres, and it is surrounded by a lovely tree area. It has little depth and that explain its dense vegetation, typical of swamp areas. In this place, a havem for aquatic birds, there are bird observatories and a Centre of Environmental Education.

Lagoon located in the Partial Natural Forest Reserve of Lagoa do Caiado, on the central plateau of Pico Island. It is a verdant place of great natural beauty, where it is possible to observe several endemic species, such as the wild cedar, the laurel, the holly, the wild grape, the whitewood and the heather.

Located between the rocks, these pools are the perfect place to relax, swim and sunbathe. They are formed from volcanic rocks that gave them peculiar shapes. It has 3800 m2 of swimming area and 3200 m2 of solarium area, open all year round and with entrance fee.

This site separates the parishes of Vilar (Moimenta da Beira) and Fonte Arcada (Sernancelhe), and allows fishing, particularly trout. The dam was created to normalize the flows of the Douro, and was recently used to capture water for public supply. It's also a great place to take a swim or have a picnic.

A beach located between the sea and the Cávado river's waters, facing the small town of Esposende. A very lovely, peaceful place, where the blue waters and the golden dunes dotted with pine trees get together. Just a few local restaurants but many more nearby.

Long sandy beach, embedded in a cliff. Here the sea is calm, and the water is of good quality, being one of the most sought after places in the summer by both national and foreign tourists. In the vicinity there are many hotels and guesthouses, small typical restaurants and some luxury ones.
