The Quinta do Alves (Alves' Farm) is located 4 km away from the centre of the town of Paços de Ferreira, in a forest and agricultural area. A pleasant place, with a pecaeful and comfortable atmosphere. The Farm is more than three hundred years old, which is apparent in its traditional aspect. The rooms have air conditioning and heating, a mini-bar, telephone and cable TV. There is also a billiards rooms, a party room and a gaming room.

In the beginning of the XX century began a remodelling of the landscape of the Frente Marítima (maritime front), which included the repair of the so called Estrada de Carreiros (at present Avenida de Montevideu). Such repair was concluded in 1914 and included, namely, the azulejos (tiles) covering of the concrete benches spread through the gardens. All this area has been the object of a recent urban intervention, which aims to revitalise this zone, that has always been a walking leisure place.

The castle was built during the reign of Dom Sancho I, on the ruins of an older fortification. During Dom Fernando's reign, it underwent restoration work and, in 1755, suffered extensive damage in an earthquake. Later, French invaders left the castle in a state of great degradation, which led to its complete abandonment. Today, it preserves some 14th-century towers, including the keep. The castle grounds have been transformed into a garden and are a pleasant place for leisure.

About a kilometer from the town, this former convent of the Frades Menores de São Francisco da Covilhã was founded in 1563, in a place that offers excellent views of Cova da Beira and Serra da Estrela. The convent was extinguished in 1834, with its objects of worship being distributed among several churches in the region, until in 2001 it was transformed into an elegant inn, with 24 rooms. The hotel unit kept the architecture in an amphitheater, on the slopes of Serra da Esperança.

Belonging to the set attached to the Águas Livres Aqueduct, an aqueduct, in stone, created to get water to the Terreiro do Paço de Queluz for consumption of the Royal Mews. The work was created in the place of two sources: the source of Gargantada and do Pocinho and served several fountains and fountains in Queluz. Built by d. João V, in 1731, was only to be done in the mid-19th century. The main section is 14 kilometres in length, of which eight in the municipality of Amadora.

Inside this Chapel stands the high altar in polychrome and gilded carvings.

Opened to the public in 1949 and closed in the 80, the Teatro Municipal de Vila do Conde has been recently recovered and includes a capacity of about 800 places, provided with all conditions of comfort for the spectators.
