Former Carthusian Convent, founded in the early 17th century by Saint Bruno, features a small cloister with three arches in each wing and a limestone façade.

This iron sculpture represents the time of the murder of Inês de Castro, taking as inspiration the picture painted in the early 20th century by Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro.

Spacious and modern, with a fountain, garden benches and some cafes. Historic square that continues, as in the early 20th century, being the meeting point of the population of Portimão.

The farm is a work from the early XVIII century, by the architect J. Frederico Ludovice. The classification includes the following parts of the building: main façade, entrance gate to the yard, façade over the yard, posterior façade, set of chapel and its paintings and all the artistic elements of architecture and sculpture that can be found in the gardens and the park.

Located 25 kilometers from the town center is this monument of probable Arab origin. Rebuilt after the 1531 earthquake, it features an interesting sculpture above the main gate, where three castles and an eagle are visible. After assuming great defensive importance, it lost its usefulness over the years, and only between 1941 and 1954 did it undergo renovations that gave it its current appearance, with two towers. It served as a prison during the Middle Ages.

Built on a hill overlooking the river, human occupation of this area dates back to the Iron Age. It allowed control of the river port that connected it to the sea and protected the population from enemy attacks. A vast walled area, two towers reinforce its defenses. From its walls, one can see the plain and the series of hills leading to Monte Clérigo beach.

Former palace built in 1599, with a rectangular plan, with two floors and two bodies and a central courtyard, owned by the Matos Azambuja family. It later became the property of the Hintze Ribeiro family and, in 2007, it was sold. Inside you can see murals from the period of Queen Maria I, 19th-century marblework and wallpaper from the late 18th century.

Small and picturesque village, built on a slope on the Tagus riverbank, where the colorful flowerbeds stand out in contrast to the white of the houses. From here you can see the beautiful Almourol Castle, learn about the region's crafts and visit exhibitions at Casa das Artes.

Typical Alentejo space located a few metres away from Beja and surrounded by a small wood. Built in 1836, it was bought by a Belgium couple some years ago and transformed into agritourism. Here the guests see and participate in many agricultural activities, enjoying the contact with nature.
