A tourism boat in the Guadiana river. One may enjoy the riches of the fauna and of the flora of this river whose spring is located at an altitude of 1700 metres, near Ciudad Real, in Spain, and flows on the the Atlantic Ocean after a journey of 829 km to its mouth on the border between Vila Real de Santo António and Ayamonte.

Ruins of the Royal glassworks established in the 18th century, in 1719. This factory produced glass white, crystalline type glass, glazing, mirrors and green glass. In 1747, due to lack of vegetable fuel, was transferred to the Marinha Grande. Currently only a few traces remain.

Built in the XIX century, in a neoclassical style, the palace was the permanent residence of the King D. Luís, his wife and his children, which lived here on the second half of eight hundred. The throne-room, the supper-room and the “Despacho” room are preserved as in the time of the Royal family. The museum exhibits collections of decorative arts from the XIX century, silvers, paintings, tapestry and furniture.

18th-century neoclassical Palace.

Pombaline building with a rectangular plan, simple volume and horizontal layout. It has three floors with a hipped roof and symmetrical facades. It was opened in 1764 as a wool factory, where the City Hall currently operates.
