A popular beach with wonderful views of Tróia and the estuary of the Sado river. One may only get there in the low tide.

When you get to the mouth, the big Ria de Aveiro, the Vouga River spreads in fairways (being that some get into the city itself). Behind are 150 km, since the Serra da Lapa, and several contributions to thicken the flow, the last of them quite close to the mouth – the Águeda River.

In medieval times it was here built the building of the Town Hall, after being rebuilt in 1876. Consists of a longitudinal plan organized in function of a corridor that traverses the entire building. Initially, it worked here too the jail and the Court but currently works only the Town Hall.

The initial project resulted in a single family building. Along the years it was remodelled and enlarged, so that it was divided in four autonomous fractions, just as it is today.

You can get to this interesting ensemble by the Sol à Graça Street, by the Forno do Sul Alley or by the Pereira Alley.
