Baroque fountain of trapezoidal plan, integrating a backrest bounded by pilasters and a central source of trapezoidal plan with three cocks. It was built in 1714 by Dom João V, believing that was erected on the site where a Roman source existed.

It is believed that this source has replaced a medieval that was known as "Ribeira da Cold Source". Located near the chapel of the Palace, this font, in granite, presents a construction similar to a niche, is preceded by two steps and surmounted by two pilasters.

In the heart of the Caramulo Mountain, this typical mountain village has a central core of small, simple rural houses. The area's tradition is apparent in the clothes and in the preserved customs.
