Chapel founded by Infante Dom Henrique and restored by the Infante Don Luis, presents a longitudinal plant consisting of two juxtaposed rectangles, with an annex building of rectangular plant and some porches. The main facade has a porch supported by eight Tuscan columns based on a masonry wall, crowned by cornice. Inside, features painted caissons coverage representing scenes from the life of Christ, with gilded mouldings. Gospel side stands a pulpit of cubic shape in gilt.

Classified as Municipal interest Property, the chapel of Santa Margarida boasts on a rectangular portal main façade, flanked by two horizontal slots, surmounted by a small oculus surrounded by a rosette. The stretching of the gable, the Campanile, richly decorated with volutes, is crowned by a cross flanked by two pinnacles with ball. Inside stands the high altar in gilt which houses religious imaginary. Space of worship, is in this chapel that the honors to Santa Margarida by the time of the feast of Saint Margaret, patron saint of the village.

In the main square of the Jewish quarter is the famous ḥanukkah that lights up every year during the Festival of Lights, which usually takes place on the last weekend of the year. In this area, between the current streets Rua Direita and Rua Fonte da Rosa, you can find several small granite houses, with cruciform motifs on the threshold and on the small openings. The Jews were mostly artisans and merchants, so the lower floor of their houses was normally occupied by their workshop or shop.

The Roman House was the first museum section of the Mértola Museum to open in 1989. It is located in the basement of the City Hall building. During renovation work, important archaeological remains corresponding to the foundations of a Roman house (today it serves as the main building) emerged. In addition to the walls of the old building, where part of the house's impluvium stands out, period architectural elements, funerary epigraphy, ceramics, and metalwork are on display. Each section has a permanent exhibition related to its theme.

The parish church of Farm, dedicated to n. Sra. da Assunção, underwent restoration and expansion in the 18th century. Inside, the floor paved in granite are the altars: the high altar, in gilt, neoclassical style, occupies the entire wall of the headboard, and two side altars next to the triumphal arch, that imaginary House representing the main religious devotions. It is in this temple are celebrated the Sunday masses and religious crafts of the feast in honour of our Lady of the assumption, which is held annually on August 15.

The Santo Estevão de Vilela Monastery is composed of a church and of the monastery's house. It was built even before Portugal's foundation. By the church there is the old monatery's building, composed of three aisles with a square shape. There is a coat of arms on the main entrance that stands on a lintel in a segmetal arch that ends in a partial triangular shape. In the third aisle, a special note to the manuelin chimney. This property of noble architectural design from the 17th century has a "mezzanine" on the upper floor of the facade that faces the street. The openings on the main floor have aprons, where treated volumes in the shape of diamond points were carved. The building was acquired and remodeled by the Bragança City Council in the 90s of the 20th century, currently housing the Library Dr. Águedo de Oliveira/Fundação "Os Nosso Livros", whose collection is considered one of the most valuable in the north of the country.

This is the only mine still active in the region, since 1965. The salt extracted by vaults and sustainers, has the chemical industry as its main destination. The mine did not work from August 1993 to September 1994, due to the change of the extraction tower. From 1994 on, the levels of yearly production have been growing and are currently about 100 tons per year, which represents, in percentual terms, about 17% of the global production volume of salt in the country.
