Convent founded in 1526 the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Luz, and later, in 1571, built the Ark on Thursday. This second building, only a few ruins of the main building and its aqueduct. In 1601, was built for the third time, in the Mount of Abrantes. In 1834, after the religious orders were extinct, was voted to the abandonment.

This 17th century building has a main façade which is classified that presents an indented gable with two winged dragons that have human faces, sided by two dolphins and, in the centre, a head of a black warrior with decorations. On the foundations, one can see inscriptions that indicate the aesthetic and decorative influences from Brazil.
