On a 35-hectare farm, an oriental garden was born in a centuries-old forest, next to a lake and along a green area with a large expanse of vineyards. Featuring three hundred Buddhist statues, this oriental garden was conceived and designed by Commander José Berardo as a response to the destruction of the Giant Buddhas of Bamyan. Bacalhôa Buddha Eden seeks to be a space of reconciliation, without any religious bias, inviting unity, communication, and meditation as a way to rediscover happiness.

A space that belongs to the Quinta da Ferraria (Ferraria Farm), created in the year 2000, even though the Farm exists since the 20th century. It is devoted to the upbringing, buying and selling Lusitana horses in an estate of 100 hectares.

Building built on the site where once existed the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça, demolished in 1901 to make way for the construction of the current building. Opened in 1904, housing initially some public offices. After working as prison, Casa do Povo, finance and as Civil and commercial Registration, was inaugurated here the school of technology of Abrantes, in 1999.
