A large room with much natural light, decorated in light shades, with a wood oven in the room. The menu proposes a variety of Italian and Portuguese dishes.

If there are places where you can say that if you eat to much and the Portuguese, one of them is this very old restaurant, renovated in the year 2000.

The primitive nucleus is from 1582, being later transformed in palace, in the XVIII century. Today it lodges the Overseas Historic Archive.

On a platform next to the River, on an ancient Roman necropolis were still visible a few decades the ruins of a chapel that the tradition called São Sebastião. The construction of the high school and a Sports Pavilion have motivated an archaeological intervention, which in turn led to change the deployment of new equipment. Today, on site, plus a part of the Roman necropolis can be visited, is open to visitors the chapel of St. Sebastian, completely rebuilt, where is exposed the main espolio exhumed.

This granite monument, shaped like a mushroom, stands over 2 meters tall. It has a peculiar morphology, resembling a mushroom, with the base narrower than the top, and the height greater. Its symbolism became an attraction, as it was customary for local girls to throw a stone at the menhir to find out if their marriage was imminent. Each lost stone represented a year of waiting. Today, it is still observed on the first Monday of Easter.
