Male former convent of the order of St. Francis founded in 1553, which subsists the cloister. In 1834 was sold, working for a few years as fifth and, in 1987, was acquired by the University of Beira Interior, after the remodel, opened here in 1995, a part of the University.

16TH century chapel, whose interior contains ancient murals compositions of great historical value. Highlights include the magnificent Gothic-style fresco that fills the space fundeiro of the apse, depicting St. Peter and a succession of scenes on Agriculture and herding.

It is believed that this cruise was built in 1699, the date entered in the gate of the fence line. Features a domed cover closed on three sides and supported by two Tuscan columns. Inside, there is a Crucifix of vegetal decoration, flanked on the left by the Virgin and on the right by St. John.

A single nave church dating from the early 17TH century. Inside the ashlars of 18th century tiles representing steps in the life of St. Peter and scenes from the legend of Santa Iria. Highlight to the marble pulpit dating from 1617.

Parish Church consists of a nave with three planes, a vaulted chancel and Bell Tower located near. Especially the images of St. John the Baptist and Saint Sebastian at the altar, and collateral for the images of our Lady mother of Men, at the altar of the opposite side.
