The Christ-King of Garajau was born with the fulfillment of a promise of Counselor Aires de Ornelas and was opened in 1927. Is deployed on a hill next to the praia do Garajau and you can visit him through a cable car.

Park located near the river beach of Porto de Rei, located next to the Douro River. It is equipped with a dock for tourist boarding and has several green spaces, a floating pool, a solarium and a picnic area.

The park, with 18 hectares, is divided into art and nature. Organized in platforms, lanes, gardens, groves and tilled grounds, it is part of a 30ies’ house, which belonged to the Conde de Vizela (earl). The gardens are Art Deco.

Two storey building built by Dom Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, 1st Marquis of Pombal, in the 18th century. In the exterior facade, emphasis on the capital where one can observe a Gargoyle.

The Crasto de Palheiros, or Fragada do Castro, is an imposing quartzite ridge that was carved and built by the populations of that region of the Trás-os-Montes Hot Land between the beginning of the third millennium BC and present times.

Two-storey house, with quadrangular and coverage in roof of three waters. The date of construction of the House, assuming that was erected between the 16th century and the 18TH century. He currently works as the unit of Turismo de Habitação.

Longitudinal plan Chapel and coffered Dome, built in the 16th century. In 1964 it was demolished and rebuilt, being inaugurated in 1967. Is integrated in the Machado de Castro Museum. Inside, the altar retable, Renaissance statuary store.

Chapel of rectangular plant consisting of two juxtaposed rectangles, a sacristy and a Bell Tower. In the interior, highlighted by a Mannerist altarpiece composed of three cloths divided by four columns de fuste smooth and composite capital.

Former elementary school, built in the early 20th century, presenting a simple rectangular plan with homogeneous coverage in gable roof. In 1990\/1991, was installed here the Ethnographic Museum of Vila Nova de Tazém.

Building called Paço dos Duques de Bragança, despite having been built to house troops. It is an 18th century rectangular plant barracks where currently located the Chaves Municipal Library and Museum.
