The garden dates back to the 1880s, when the public gardens were something new. From here one may view a lovely landscape of the city, the Tagus river and the Rossio to the south of the Tagus.

The gardens in the romantic style have a strong cultural influence from England. The palace has wide lawns sided by alleys that dignify the building. In the backside, there is a boxwood garden with hedges, quite elaborate.

A place from where one can view the entire island and some of the islets. During the 16th century a small fortress due to stop the invasions by French and Algerian pirates was built here.

Small garden, from the XIX century, whose conception reflects an architectonics harmony. The trees surround the Monumento aos Mortos da Grande Guerra (monument to the First World War heroes).

If you go for a walk by the sea, this is an unavoidable place: at sunset, the sun touches the sea and the sky turns red, producing a nostalgic unique scenery. You may witness this from this large terrace.

It is overlooking the city of Santo Tirso. Has fantastic views from the mount and is made of a very well preserved forest. Has, occasionally, a location for the games of clue, a rock for climbing and hiking trails.

About 1 km north of the Mount of Cortiçadas and about 300 m from the path of respective mound, this dolmen of polygonal Chamber and hallway, holding the remains of the TUMULUS. Is classified as a national monument.

Large 18th century armored fountain (from the Refoios Saraiva family), which is decorated with volutes, dragons and pinnacles. Water gushes out, through three frowns, into a cut-out tank.

Arch opened in undetermined period, but after the XVI century, with a full arch, double frames, altered in recent times at the base to ease of traffic and save from destruction by the poet Mário Beirão.

Roman dam with embankment consisting of four parallel walls, which are arranged radially from the top of the slope, caught internally by buttresses. Emphasis on the initial part of the aqueduct canal dug in the outcrop.
