Rustic house, situated next to Alvão Natural Park. It is surrounded by natural systems and elements of great environmental, scientific and cultural significance. You can use about two kilometres, the pool of Casa da Cruz.

At the Parque da Lapa (Lapa Park) there are many different tree species, some quite aged, namely the Cedrus Deodara and the Cedrus Libani. Well located in the centre of town, by the Chapel of Lapa, with very comfortable benches.

Romantic garden placed next to the Galeria das Artes Liberais, from where you reach the chapel and then the Casa de fresco, with a circular draw decorated with sea shells, pieces of Ming china and anthropomorphic figures.

You can see views from the top of Santa Cruz to Mount São Domingos, passing through Armamar. To the right, you can see Lumiares, São Martinho das Chãs, and the Lumiares dam reservoir.

A large, densely wooded green space of approximately 25 hectares, with tables and benches for picnics. Also known as Pinhal da Paiã, it's a great place for a stroll, as it offers plenty of shade and secluded spots to rest and relax.

Baroque crossroads cruise with a sundial in the forend. The cross has a representation of the Lord and of Nossa Senhora da Conceição. This cruise has great similarities with the Cruzeiro do Senhor do Amparo, in Vila Praia de Âncora.

Manueline rectangular plant building with three floors (two floors initially), probably built in the 16th century. In the 20th century was much altered in order to function as the information centre of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.

Os bolos de São Gonçalo são muito conhecidos em Amarante, sobretudo por serem trocados pelos namorados no dia da festa deste santo casamenteiro, no dia 10 de janeiro.

Nesta cooperativa é possível comprar as especiarias da região. Os visitantes podem adquirir mel, o tradicional vinho verde, champagne e jeropiga produzido na cooperativa, kiwis e azeite.

O almalaguês é um tipo de tecelagem bordada em puxados e executada com fios de algodão em teares próprios da região, parecidos com os teares persas.
