Worthy of notice are the masonry work portal surpassed by a rectangular window and bell tower, a characteristic of the Baixo alentejo baroque.

It has a base arranged in degree with two steps and square plan. The column is settled in a simple square base; the shaft is ribbed and topped by ring without capital, crowned by an orb.

The original chapel, dating from the 15th century, was rebuilt between 1674 and 1676. The main façade features a straight-lintel portal, while the side façades feature Manueline arched portals. The interior features the high choir, the pulpit on the Gospel side, and the chancel with a triptych commemorating the patron saint.
