The uniqueness of this temple comes from the monumental height of the nave, with its slightly oval plan and walls, contrasting with the low, rectangular forms of the vestibule and chancel. The portal, topped by windows, is framed and sculpted. The gilded altarpieces and stucco work are particularly noteworthy.
Museu Municipal de Pinhel / Antigo Solar dos Antas e Menezes

This is a 1736 building and it possesses irregular plan and hipped coverage. The façade and the eyeballs siding the city symbols have kept the sixteen hundreds characteristics. The bays are in forged iron from the 18th and 19th century. Presently this building is home for the City’s Museum.

This gate is one of the few remains of the old fortress, built in the 18th century to defend the town from pirates. It was built between 1797 and 1799 by Matias de Avelar. The upper part of the gate features the coat of arms with the royal arms of Portugal.

This set of buildings resulting from the re-use of a summer farm, which belonged to the Bishops of the guard, to install a judicial establishment of internment for minors with a reeducativo program of agricultural vocation (in 1926). Between 1926 and 2003 suffered successive adaptations and expansions.
Quinta das Campainhas / Quinta do Beau-Séjour

Dated from 1849, the farm is also called “Quinta do beau-Séjour”. Inside are worthy of notice the decoration of the dinning-room, the luxurious stuccos and a beautiful painting of Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro. Also interesting is the façade covered with glazed tiles.
