Botica's House is, at the same time, House of culture and the municipal library of Póvoa de Lanhoso. In relation to the origin of the name Casa da Botica, Pelican, placed on the façade of the building, gives some lights on designation. It is known that the Pelican now is regarded as religious symbol and as a Christian symbol.

Este doce de origem conventual teve origem no extinto Convento de Arouca, readaptando a receita de manjar branco. Caracterizado por ser confecionado com língua de vaca, este doce faz parte ainda hoje das festas e romarias populares. É muito consumido sobretudo em festas religiosas, no Natal ou Páscoa.

In this park, you can find the most representative autochthonous species of the area, including 150 plant species. You will find deer, wild boar, Serra da Estrela dogs, fallow deer, pheasants, partridges and foxes.
