A highly regarded beach, with an extensive stretch of fine sand, surrounded by a sea of dunes. It has some quality restaurants and some bars. Here you can practice surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and bodyboarding.

A beach at the mouth of the Douro River that has a neck of sand stretching to the sea. It is located in a sand isthmus being that one part is fluvial and the other is maritime. It has a small bar serving dainties and light meals.

Located next to a pine forest, is a beach quite crowded and appealing, not longer, however, a quiet, great for rest. There are some areas of concession, the sand is clean. Good bathing zone. There is a small restaurant on the beach.

Quite difficult accesses. Only attended in the low tide.

A small beach located on a valley that almost disappears when the tide is high. Attended mostly by naturists and by fishermen.

A beach with rather difficult accesses. The best path is by the road that leads to the Ponta da Piedade lighthouse. Located at the bottom of a cliff it is usually attended by naturists.

A beach on a cliff that is mostly attended by those who enjoy recreational fishing and by families.

A beach with quality infrastructure, well-frequented, located in a small fishing village with a sheltered harbor.

To get to this beach one must follow the direction of Alfanzina. It is an isolated beach in between cliffs, protected from the wind, with a small tunnel in one of the hillsides from where one may see the caves.
