Palácio Nacional de Belém

Its construction was ordered by Dom João V in 1726 and it suffered important remodelling works during the XIX century. The Palace gardens, with statues and lakes are worthy of notice. After the Republic Implantation, this elegant pink house became the official residence of the head of state.
Salinas da Figueira da Foz

The Figueira da Foz salt pans are located in the estuary of the Mondego River. They consist of small units with many compartments, connected by a network of channels. Characteristic of this area are the salt warehouses, wooden buildings with a capacity to store between 150 and 200 tons of salt. To safeguard this important heritage, a museum, a three-kilometer walking trail and a tourist boat tour were created in these Salinas in Figueira da Foz.

Palácio Xabregas ou Marqueses de Olhão

Founded in the XVI century and repaired in the XVIII century, it resisted the earthquake of 1755. This is a large palace with 14 windows at the façade of the noble floor, and 64 rooms, some of them with paintings of Pilment.
Palácio Ludovice

Work of the architect Frederico Ludovice, from 1747, as the memorial stone in the central window says. The building has five floors of unequal height, being the third and the forth floors with a balcony.

18th century neo-classical Palace Pombaline and presenting an irregular trapezoidal plan with two wings in l. Integrates a longitudinal Chapel composed of a nave and a chancel, forming three interior courtyards.
Edifício do Teatro da Trindade

The Teatro da Trindade is the most well-preserved specimen of the Italian theater in the country, with a structure practically Virgin of cement and iron, allowing you to maintain a single acoustic and stage machinery that constitutes a unique heritage in terms of theatrical archaeology in Portugal. Also has a Studio Room, sala experimental (blackbox) with 50 seats. Hall, the excellence and the nobility of a lounge suitable for chamber music recitals and poetry, small exhibitions, autograph sessions, honors and prestigious presentations.
Edifício do Teatro Nacional Dona Maria II

Located at the Rossio north side, the Teatro Dona Maria II was built in 1840 by the Italian architect Fortunato Lodi. The façade has six columns, brought from the São Francisco Convent, and is ended with a triangular fronton where are sculpted the figures of Apollo and the Muses.
