Bust erected in a square with the same name that intends to pay homage to this lawyer, statesman and liberal that he ended up becoming an inescapable figure in the history of Portugal. He is buried in the cemetery of the parish, according to his will, expressed in her will.

This bronze statue, built by the late José de Oliveira Ferreira, is located on a granite pedestal that is about one metre tall. Located in the centre of the Jardim das Mães (Mothers' Garden) it means to pay tribute to all the mothers.
