This scenic spot is ideal for extreme sports, offering a wide range of views. Legend tells of a knight who, chasing the Devil incarnate as a deer, jumped over the abyss at Lugar do Salto (Place of the Leap). Upon landing, he invoked the name of Our Lady, and miraculously, horse and rider landed safely on the other bank, where the horse's hoofprints can still be seen today. In gratitude, the knight commissioned the construction of the Chapel of Our Lady of Salto. It's a place much appreciated by locals and tourists alike, due to its excellent location.
