This Rural Hotel is surrounded by about ten thousand square meters of magnificent gardens and a refreshing swimming pool of fallen border. Garden set on a place where the Convento de São Francisco used to be, from which remains only the marble blazonry with the arms of Franciscans and the kingdom of Portugal, exposed in one of the grassed areas of the garden. Here are some works of art namely two statues and three busts. There is also a small lake with swans, ducks, fishes and an auditorium where several cultural activities take place.

Between Peso da Régua and Pinhão, exit at Covalinhas to reach the top of São Leonardo and its chapel. From this site, known for having inspired Miguel Torga, you can glimpse the Douro Valley. The river, far below, flowing slowly toward its mouth, the rugged slopes and sharp peaks, and the verdant greenery of the nearby vineyards, which try to disguise the prevailing grayness.

A medieval mountain castle with schist walls. Inside, it has a quadrangular tower and a single-nave church with a narrower chancel and bell tower, the Church of Saint John the Baptist. The castle was abandoned for centuries and was only rebuilt in 1998. The tower and some sections of the schist wall remain from the original monument. The founding of this fortification is attributed to Sertorius. It was rebuilt by Count Henry and, in 1174, was donated by his son to the Hospitallers.

Fortified village located in a small shed at the bottom of the East mound of monte da Croa stump. It is a rugged spur where noticeable faint traces of a line of walls and a deep moat from the West side, currently used as a path. Inside are ceramic fragments of Roman chronology and indigenous. It is believed that was associated with the Castro of Croa stump, being possibly later and occupation also in the Roman era.

Castro dating back to the Bronze age, more exactly from the 7th century BC. This is located in a hilly elevation, on top of which stands a chapel of Oracle to Nossa Senhora da Guia. At the same site were also found archaeological remains denoting the existence of a fortified village. Of the latter, very little can be seen because it was grounded in 1995, during the construction of an access road.

The Almedina Arch was part of the medieval walls, dating back to the 11th century, as indicated by the Arabic-origin toponym meaning "the city". Today it is the entrance to old Coimbra, where one can see a sculpture from the workshop of João de Ruão. The wall has Roman origins, having been expanded several times. It presents characteristics of Roman, Muslim, Romanesque, Gothic and Manueline architecture.

Once used freely by the population since the end of the 18th century, the Termas da Fadagosa de Nisa is today a modernly equipped thermal set. The Fadagosa spring is located 11 kilometers from the town of Nisa, and its waters are especially suitable for respiratory tract disorders, skin diseases and dermatological pathologies, physical medicine and rehabilitation, metabolic-endocrine diseases and rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders.

Being the only thermal resort in the Algarve, Caldas de Monchique is located at an altitude of 350 meters and 20 kilometers from the Algarve coast, in the middle of the Serra de Monchique. The 40 hectares of forest that surround it make this place extremely pleasant. The waters are recommended for respiratory tract, digestive, rheumatic and psychosomatic conditions. It also offers wine therapy and weight loss programs, among others.

The Yoga Áshrama Of Coimbra was created in 2011 through the sponsorship of Grand Master Amrta Súryánanda – Jorge Veiga and Castro, and of a group of practitioners of this locality. Is dedicated exclusively to the dissemination and practice Of Yoga – Yoga Total, preserving it from modern simplifications and of Hercules and hyped. Is one of the many existing Áshrama across the country, affiliated to the Portuguese Confederation of Yoga, Yoga and Lusa Federation Lusa Association of Yoga.
