Located in Crestuma, very close to the dam, this green refuge was born in 2009, as a result of the restoration of an old farmhouse abandoned by the municipality. Overlooking the Douro River, it rises between terraces, offering fantastic views and pleasant walking routes. There, it is possible to observe the native vegetation, namely species such as ash, cork oaks, oaks and strawberry trees, as well as archaeological remains.

On this site you can practice several activities such as: descents, river boat and raft, MOUNTAIN BIKING, traditional games, boating, rowing, water skiing, slide, archery, Crossbow shooting, shot with Blowgun, sailing and windsurfing. It also has bungalows for accommodation, with beautiful panoramic views over the river.

Viewpoint that provides a charming panoramic view over the Castle, Terreiro do Paço and the streets of Velho Burgo Calipolense.

Forest area with picnic area, providing a good moment of contact with nature. Here you can breathe fresh air and enjoy a wide variety of tree species.

One of King Carlos' favorite hunting grounds, the Tapada de Vila Viçosa, would come to be managed by the Fundação da Casa de Bragança. In 1981, the General Directorate of Forests bought 269 of the approximately 1200 hectares of the tapada. Many animal species can be seen there, such as the Iberian lynx, the golden eagle, the black stork and the black vulture.

The Jardim da Alameda de Santa Quitéria is a green space of large proportions, located on the hill, with views over the municipality. It has some leisure equipment for children.

Located at the top of Monte de Santa Quitéria, from this viewpoint you can see the city of Felgueiras. It has gardens, playground, a coffee shop and a restaurant.

Viewpoint at the top of Monte da Senhora Aparecida, next to the chapel with the same name, which allows a 360 degree view over the entire county and the region in general.

Place set above the 1000 metres, offering a lovely view over Curral das Freiras, where are visible various volcanic tops covered with vegetation.
